As part of a fundraiser for an non-human animal sanctuary Beneath the Wood, activist Abi Foster tagged their ear streamed live online. This action highlighted even the seemingly 'small' actions done upon non-human animals are violent and intrusive. Abi was pierced with the same type of tag gun non-human animals are tagged with; placing herself, a human, in a non-human space. Emotions of shock and admiration from supporters, confirm the distance between how humans and non-humans differ in treatment.
