Fishing is NOT Human(e) was a performance art installation by SPECIESISM.WTF, created to expose the ethical issues and violence inherent in fishing practices. Taking place in Brighton, UK, the project combined live performance and visual art to challenge societal norms around seafood consumption. The piece highlighted the suffering of marine life, calling attention to the often-overlooked consequences of fishing on sentient beings. By engaging audiences in public spaces, the installation invited viewers to question the moral implications of consuming fish and encouraged a shift toward more compassionate choices.
